Red-fronted Macaw Babies

Rare and lovely, this species must be seen in person to fully appreciate it's beauty. Measuring approximately 24 inches, red fronts are the smallest of the large macaws. Red fronts are not nearly as noisy as their larger counterparts and can turn out to be fairly good talkers. Red fronts are also very social with extremely sweet dispositions and make outstanding pets.

Special Dietary Needs: Macaws have an elevated need for fat and should be fed a moderate amount of seeds or nuts daily to supplement a healthy and balanced diet.
Characteristics: Intelligent, loving, good natured, and charming.
