Jardine Parrots are a little of all good parrot traits rolled into one. Jardines are extremely affectionate and comical. They love to play with their toys and are loads of fun to be around. Jardine babies are happy and full of life. They can talk and are relatively quiet which is great for those living in apartments.

Special Dietary Needs: Like African greys, Jardines have an elevated need for calcium and should be offered foods rich in calcium such as almonds, kale, figs, beans, broccoli, etc. 
Characteristics: Energetic, playful, bold, out going, and affectionate.
